Hello author, on behalf of all the readers, we would like to discuss something about you and of course, your book as well. This conversation will help reader to know more about you and your debut book.
Criticspace: Most welcome to Criticspace, Author. We heartily congratulate you for being a published author. It’s really a great achievement. First thing, we would like to know about your basic info as a person, daily life, career so far and anything you would like to share about you with your readers.
Author: I would like to be known as a simple girl who loves to write. A blogger turned author from a small town, Naihati, near Kolkata who have published her first poetry book in June 2018. After doing my Masters in Chemistry in 2014 I did many writing related jobs. Even I switched my job from a well-known banking firm just because I was not at all enjoying my job role there. So, writing always fascinated me though it was not known to me till 2017 that it is going to be such an inevitable part of my life in future.
Criticspace: That’s really great; please tell us something about your journey of becoming an author. When you actually started writing and how was the circumstance? Did any person or situation influenced you to write your debut book or was it your childhood hobby of writing?
Author: In 2017 I got a chance to start my writing journey through blogging and in few months I got recognition for Leibster Award and Sunshine blogger Award by two fellow bloggers from Nigeria and USA. In the next year I published my first poetry book “HER RANDOM THOUGHTS” IN June. From then my journey is going fantastic and I am really enjoying it. If I talk influences then I would I would like to talk about my mother who has always inspired me in every section of my journey.
Criticspace: Please tell the reader something about your book. What is your message to those readers who have still not read the book? Why they should pick it up for reading?
Author: Sometimes, we fail to recognise the actual emotional status of a certain person. We found them irritating or mismatch in our daily normal lifestyle but we should know that everybody is going through a certain war in their life. The inexpressive people out there sometimes feels neglected and left out just because the people around them tagged them to be so. Through my poetry I have tried to portray their feelings and emotions so that we become less judgemental to others.
Criticspace: And yes, the most important thing we would like to hear from you is what is your message to those new writers who have not yet started their journey of becoming an author? You have been their source of motivation, please convey your thoughts with them.
Author: I would like to say the new writers that just keep writing. If you love something never hesitate to put your whole heart into it. The more you thrive the more you will be able to explore the road of your journey and success.
Criticspace: That’s really great! We wish you all good luck for your literature career.
