Author: Vignesh Ravichandran holds a Masters in Business Administration from a leading Business School. He presently works as a Human Resource professional in a leading software organization in Chennai. He wrote this debut novel with the storyline which he experienced in his nightmare before 7years.
Criticspace: That’s really great; please tell us something about your journey of becoming an author. When you actually started writing and how was the circumstance? Did any person or situation influenced you to write your debut book or was it your childhood hobby of writing?
Author: It all began 7years before when I was pursuing my under graduation in RKM Vivekananda College. We group of friends planned to launch a weekly campus magazine featuring comics, short stories, poetries, cultural events and many. And, this is the time when I experienced the small plot about my debut novel Empyrea in my nightmare. I managed to develop my nightmare and said about the idea of releasing it as a weekly comic in our campus magazine to my friends. As usual, we didn’t got enough support from our college and dropped the idea of campus magazine. But my friends kept pushing me to write it as a novel and my English trainer was gracious enough to guide me in this horrible writing journey of mine. It took nearly a year for me to complete the first few chapters and then Empyrea rightly sparkled its magic and I began to love creating new fictional characters and loved my imagination rather than my writing. My imagination pushed me to take more real time reference on the fictional characters and places and helped me to rewrite the old chapters with a better creativity. I changed my story plot more than 10times to deliver the best in me. At last, I am a published author after 7years.
Criticspace: Please tell the reader something about your book. What is your message to those readers who have still not read the book? Why they should pick it up for reading?
Author: Take a break from your routine work and onboard our unicorn chariot for the adventures journey in Empyrea
Criticspace: And yes, the most important thing we would like to hear from you is what is your message to those new writers who have not yet started their journey of becoming an author? You have been their source of motivation, please convey your thoughts with them.
Author: In my view, everyone have their own story to tell, some say it to themselves, some direct it as a movie and rarely some write it as books. I suggest everyone to write books to love yourself.
Criticspace: That’s really great! We wish you all good luck for your literature career.
