Criticspace: Most welcome to Criticspcae, Author. We heartily congratulate you for being a published author. It’s really a great achievement. First thing, we would like to know about your basic info as a person, daily life, career so far and anything you would like to share about you with your readers.

Author: My Name is Akash Ujawane, I am from Bhopal, I live in Mumbai with my wife Soma and daughter Anaisha.  I am very much fond of Listening to music, Singing, watching movie, making friends etc and I am passionate about Training and Coaching and learning new skills, I am a Trainer, Speaker, Coach and author of book “Craft your destiny”.

As a student I flunked in exams many times and I was never a studios kid, I used to hate exams and the only motivation to go to school was my friends and extracurricular activities which I used to take part in school (I was very good at sports and cultural activities and I have won many prizes for it during schooling and college) After schooling I completed my MBA and started working in one of the Multinational companies in Gurgaon and having worked there for 2 years then I decided to move to Mumbai and started working here and worked for more than 8 years with Godrej Group in Mumbai.

Criticspace: That’s really great; please tell us something about your journey of becoming an author. When you actually started writing and how was the circumstance? Did any person or situation influenced you to write your debut book or was it your childhood hobby of writing?

Author:  Having worked for more than 10 years in corporate, I realized that working 9-5 in corporate and earning fixed monthly salary was not the only thing I wanted to achieve in life, it just happened to be my ambition because of the family financial circumstances and since my school days I was desperate to get a job and work and earn because of the economic things I saw when I was a teenager.

My family also had a lot of expectation from me being an elder son; my parents always had big hope from me that their son would do something good in life, being from lower-middle-class family I think these kinds of expectation are prevalent. After years of working experience in corporate I realized that my job is just my Profession and this is not my passion which I want to follow entire my life, but then the big question I had what the hell I really want from my experience, when I started working in corporate I switched from one company to other and within company I moved to different departments hoping that new roles and responsibilities probably going to help me figure out what I really want?

After working few months in new job responsibility, I was not finding that enjoyable and my daily monotonous routine was really sucking me, and I was frustrated. I had started feeling depressed from within, whenever I used to have a conversation with my friends and colleagues over the weekend, and I used to share my situations and how things are happening around me. But In reality I wanted to check how many of them are really happy with their job or am I the only one suffering and dealing with this situation. Earlier I thought I am the only person who has this kind of problem and while talking to other colleagues of mine I realized one thing, this is a huge problem.

There are many people around me who don’t even know what they want to do in their life apart from their job, my friends and colleagues used to call me and share the same problem every weekend. I know how exactly it feels when you want to do something else but really don’t know what is that one thing which really excites you and which can drive you entire your life, but you must have to do other things to keep moving because you have family responsibilities to look after and lots of expectations from parents and over and above that your fixed monthly regular salary. I didn’t have clarity, and it was frustrating me. It was keeping me up in nights and I was finding it difficult to cope up with this situation. It made me anxious and time was passing away, while I sit around frustrated and depressed.

Then I decided to do something about this. Every day I used to work after office hours after reaching home and most of the time I ended up finishing very late night after dinner, because I was desperate to know how people are living happily. Why the hell am I struggling with my actions and aspiration! I also promised myself to work on personal development instead of personality development. And within few months I managed to identify my own passion and I started working it and it not only changed my perspective, but also helped change my life. Through this book, I want to reach as many people as possible so that I can help change their life.
